In Absolute Sunset, a young Polish girl is tormented by nightmares of a malevolent raven, who gives her cryptic clues about the impending deaths of her friends and family. Her attempts to solve the mysteries drive her ever more forcefully toward her own fate, and she begins to wonder if she may be the raven’s final victim.
The cover design captures the intensity and relentless darkness of the book’s plot and dream sequences, placing the raven as a strong focal point in front of the post-communist Polish urban landscape.
